Not sure where to go?

Stick to Warren Street! This street runs centrally through downtown from the river and Amtrak all the way up through town. There are lots of amazing shops and good eats along this route.

Take a stroll (or a picnic) to the lovely Hudson River... the Henry Hudson Riverfront Park is just steps away from downtown, right near the Amtrak and easily accessible on foot. There are lots of cute places to pick up local bites along the way. The historic lighthouse is viewable from here and Hudson River Cruises that leave from the docks, so you can take a ride!

(with The Culinary Institute of America not far away, many chefs set their roots in the Hudson Valley Region... meaning, there is some pretty amazing food here!)

Warren Street is considered the main street in downtown. Walk along Warren, and a few blocks beyond in either direction, and you will discover many wonderful places to shop for local goods, antiques and more. The beauty of the area is that there are many great towns just a short drive away (Chatham, Ghent, Rhinebeck, New Paltz... and many more) all with history, shopping and food to explore!
