Syracuse Soapworks proudly handcrafts soaps from scratch and in small batches, in Syracuse, New York. They are made of Saponified Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Essential Oils.

All soaps are made using centuries-old traditions, premium vegetable oils and pure essential oils. They contain no harsh petrochemical detergents or irritating synthetic fragrances. Our products are not tested on animals, and we provide vegan-friendly options.

These amazing Olo Rollerballs are a staple in our apothecary shop.

The Olo brand was founded in 2009 by self taught perfumer Heather Sielaff, and each fragrance continues to be hand blended and bottled in house.

These petite 3 inch long floral smudge bundles are the sweetest token for yourself or to offer as a gift. A small ethically sourced sage bundle is wrapped with local dried spray rose blooms tied beautifully with a piece of colorful string. Each bundle is made by Rochester, NY maker Catherine Rising.

To smudge, simply light the entire sage bundle briefly, blow out the flame and waft the smoke around your home. Many cultures offer a blessing when they smudge to remove negative energy from their space. The sage should be put on a metal or ceramic dish until the smoke goes out completely (don't leave unattended). 

Follow up with Palo Santo to welcome good luck and positive energy into your space following the same steps as above. You can keep your palo santo burning by placing it on a coal - but just a little bit goes a long way with both of these rituals.

We use a coconut oil based wax which is 100% natural, non-gmo, and sustainable. Coconut wax is poured at a very high temperature which creates a long lasting, clean burning candle. Some candles may experience "sweating" (expulsion of excess oils) during changes in temperature.
